Simpson tong

Simpson Kwok Hung Tong is the founding principal of the law firm. In the past, he worked with one of the top six international law firms in New Zealand and also in the litigation department of a medium sized law firm in Hong Kong dealing with the litigation in relation to the new Hong Kong international airport and the Macau Tower.

Before he took up law and studied law in the University of Wales, Cardiff in the United Kingdom, he had had extensive experience in engineering/construction consultancy in Hong Kong. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK).

He has been acting for a number of substantial property developers and financial companies.

He migrated to New Zealand in 1992 and has been successful in assisting a number of high profile expatriates in applying for permanent residency and work visas etc. Now, his focus is predominantly on the overseeas investment and immigration laws and practice.

He also specialises in trust/corporate governance. He is the Executive Committee Member and Honorary Solicitor of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in New Zealand (www.cccnz.org.nz) and one of the trustees of the Board of the Fathers Who Dare Win Charitable Trust (www.fatherswhodarewin.com).
